THE IMA coaches
All of our head coaches at IMA have received a Level II Parkour/Freerunning certification from the World Federation of Parkour and Freerunning (WFPF) and we are all CPR and AED certified. This is not a job for us, this is what we are passionate about and love doing!
Parkour and Freerunning has helped us all discover new capabilities and overcome fears, and we expect nothing less for each one of our students, no matter the age! We are constantly elevating our skills and knowledge of the sport, and we love sharing it with the world!
DEREK - OWNER AND HEAD COACH
Derek Fitchett is a Level II Parkour/Freerunning certified instructor through World Freerunning Parkour Federation.
DANI - OWNER, GYM MOM & CHAOS COORDINATOR
Wife to Derek and mom to three awesome kiddos, Danielle Fitchett is a NASM certified personal trainer with specializations in group personal training and youth exercise.
STEVEN - COACH
Steven is IMA’s youngest Coach at only 20 years old, but he has received the World Federation of Parkour and Freerunning's Level II Coaches Certification.
ETHAN - COACH
Ethan loves pizza and playing Halo and is fav soda is Baja Blast. He loves to go outside and run around and hang out at the park.
DAN - COACH
Dan is a full-time student at Cerro Coso with a passion for fitness! He has spent years working as a personal trainer and recently found a love for parkour.
ZEKE - ASSISTANT COACH
Zeke is a Senior at Burroughs High School. He has been training Parkour and Freerunning for 3 years and trains almost daily. He also spearheads our YouTube channel and his own channel The Desert Traceur! In his downtime, he plays the drums and attends his church.
LOGAN - ASSISTANT COACH
Logan is a Junior at Burroughs High School. He trains occasionally during Open Gym but mostly focuses on his studies. He helps us often on the weekends for special events and birthday parties!
ALLAN - COACH
Allan joined the US Marines in June! So while he is not a current Coach, he is still a member of our IMA Family. We miss him but we are super proud of his path. Allan still join us occasionally to help out so if you see him, know it is a special day at IMA!
Subber - Assistant Coach
Subber fell in love with Parkour recently and is working on gaining new skills each week! She is currently a full-time student at Cerro Coso and is hoping to transfer May 2020 to earn Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience. Her ultimate goal is to pursue a career in alternative medicine and attend acupuncture school to combine both Eastern and Western medicine.
